Para expresar acciones que ocurren habitualmente,con una determinada frecuencia (hábitos, rutinas...).Me levanto a las 8 todas las mañanas.I get up at eight o'clock every morning.

Para expresar hechos o verdades generales.La tierra gira alrededor del sol.The Earth goes around the Sun.

Para expresar situaciones permanentes. Él vive en Londres.He lives in London.

Para hablar de acciones futuras ya planificadas.Me voy de Madrid mañana por la mañana.I leave Madrid tomorrow morning.

En las terceras personas del singular añade una “s” al verbo

He plays football. Alice comes to school by bus.

My dog sleeps in the garden.

Si el verbo acaba en "s"-"sh"-"ch"-"x" o "z"en las terceras persona del singular añade "es".

Si el verbo acaba en "y" precedida deconsonante cambia la “y” en “i” y añade "es".

My brother watches TV at night. His kite flies very high.
