Use the present perfect progressive for actions that started in the past and continue in the present.
PRACTICE:Read each sentence below. Write a sentence that summarizes the information. Use the present perfect progressive with since or for.

Sometimes you can use either the present perfect progressive or the present perfect. The meaning is basically the same. This is especially true with verbs like live, study, teach, and work with for or since.
PRACTICE:Use the pictures to write sentences using the present perfect progressive or the present perfect tense. Then tell whether the action is finished or continues into the present.
