Preliminary Task – Idea/Plan For the task I have decided to create an intense conversation between two hooded characters. To create an intense atmosphere the beginning sequence will be of a hooded figure walking, to establish the setting and give insight into the type of character by having shots showing posture etc. Although I will not be able to control weather conditions the purpose of the sequence is to follow the figure, this will build as the scene gets faster and the music builds creating urgency ending with the sudden silence as it cuts to the next section. The next section of the film will be in a dark empty room with a single table and light with a figure sat at it. I have chosen this setting as it creates an enclosed, intense atmosphere and makes the main focus the figures. For this I will use my garage as it is spacious and I am able to control the lighting and sounds. This is where the conversation will take place, building until it finishes with an extreme close up and cuts to darkness.
