nobody knows
Monologue; This monologue is about a young girl aged 14 who’s been bullied all her life in primary school all the way through to secondary school. Before acting this out, it may be a good idea to think about how her emotion will come across ect.
I never had many friends. I was always the loner kid, sitting in the corner, not talking or even looking at anyone, you know? The one with the glasses, the braces, the ‘uncool’ shoes; the classic victim. For as long as I could remember I’d been picked on. Whether it was just a snide comment across the classroom, or someone nicking my books, or pushing me over ‘by accident’, there was always something. The awful thing was, nobody seemed to care. The teachers chose not to see it, and my parents told me to just deal with it, to just ‘ignore it’. There two favourite words. Well, I didn’t forget. I didn’t ignore it. I got my own back. I found my way back, I found my way to hurt them, exactly how I was hurt. Now I can sit and laugh in my own little world, whilst I watch the ones I used to love and care about hurt, and cry. But I suppose, they’ve got to just ‘forget it’ and ‘ignore it’ just like I had to. This script was for the auditions that took place for the character of the ‘girl nobody knows’. Myself and Rio chose to write a script like this one shown as we could see how our character acted being hurt/upset from her past and how they could show selfishness. This made choosing the right person for the character a lot easier.
Monologue; This monologue is about a bully and a group of her ‘tag alongs’ talking to a young girl in the toilets. Before acting this out, remember your meant to be very intimidating towards other people. You think you control everyone ect. Shut up you stupid little rat. Move yourself. I own these toilets, not you! Ahh, did I upset you? Shame that, MOVE! What is that skirt? Pft, babe, think you’ll find we’re not in the stone age. You silly little girls, thinking your all it. Annoys me you know! Makes me very, VERY angry. *laugh*. Another thing that makes me angry is those shoes, just, what are they! Moon boots or what! Have you ever heard of anything called make up babe? Might make you look the slightest bit nicer *laugh*. Come on girls, lets leave this stupid toe rag to her busies. Bye sweetie. Remember that make up yeah? *laugh*
This script was for the auditions that took place for the character(s) of the school girls that bully ‘the girl nobody knows’. Myself and Rio chose to write a script like this one shown as we could see how our characters acted being horrible towards someone, making them feel intimidated.
Girl nobody knows- Sophie Mander Costume• School black tights• Long grey skirt• ‘Proper’ school shoes• Tie• Blazer • School shirt(Costume needs to look neat)
Makeup• Black eyeliner around the
eyes• Pale face• Pale lips

Why we chose this character to dress in this manner;
We chose it because we want our character to look innocent and different from the other group of girls in the school. Her makeup is based on the fact she is really a ghost, so her makeup needs to look quite different to everyone elses and a place face.

Why we chose this character to dress in this manner;
We chose it because it shows the girl isn't following school rules as a head teacher would not allow a student to come into school dressed like this. She comes across very full of herself, thinking she’s all it.
