CRIE OF NAVALENO

SUMMER IN SPAIN JUNE JULY AUGUST SEPTEMBER

Spanish´s Climate Spain is located in the Iberian peninsula, in the southwest of Europe. Its

position give us an excellent weather.

Spanish´s climate is quiet different. It is mainly due to its altitude and the surrounding sea.

Spain is one of the most mountainous country of Europe and it is encircled by the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean.

The difference between south´s weather and the north´s weather is obvious.

Spanish´s summer is quiet hot, specially in the geographic center of the country.

The average temperature is at least 30 Celsius degrees.

The country´s coastal areas benefit from the sea´s breeze, therefore their temperature is softer.

The sunligth´s average is 11/12 hours per day and it rarely rains during summer.

How do spanish people enjoy their leisure time in summer?

People go on holiday to: Seaside Countryside Visit their relatives: grandparent´s village

Let´s go to the beach! Spain´s got a huge coast thus, families with their

children use to go to the seaside at least during one week in summer time.

Whenever spanish people can´t travel to the beach, they use to go to their town´s river, nearby lakes or the swimming pool. It´s cheaper and furthermore, it´s funny.

Let´s go to the countryside! As we said previously, Spain is a mountainous country.

People like to practice activities such as hiking, climbing or they like visiting the Pyrenees for example.

Let´s go to our grandparent´s village! Family is specially important in Spain, we visit our

grandparents in the village every year. Agricultural works are made.
