In the history of Polish migration were associated with the political situation.In 1772, 1793 and 1795 resulted in the Polish lands fall into the borders of Russia, Prussia and Austria. This was one of the reasons for migration.

the second reason was the migration of Polish influx of foreign Polish lands in the nineteenth century but soon the situation changed. people before World War I, during and after it leaves Poland. most of them headed to the United States, Brazil, Canada and Germany.

World War II brought the division of Polish territories between Russia and Germany. At that time, there was a lot of exports, resettlement and deportations.At the time of communism in 1956, and 1968 major events expanded the emigration of political activists. After 1989, Poland opened its borders to people from the eastern border. This resulted in the influx of immigrants which has improved the economic situation.
