They have learnt how to control and effectively create ‘stage hits’ to look as realistic as possible on film. Getting stage make-up in the eyes The actor will be advised to put the ‘bruised’ eye make-up on themselves with a light hand to avoid the risk of getting product in their eye. A swatch test will be done previously to this on the actor to ensure they are not allergic to the product. Incorrectly using equipment Make sure all people on the set are aware of the correct procedures in handling the equipment. This includes the cameras and tripod. Low-key lighting To avoid the risk of noise on the footage, the shots will be filmed on 60 fps which reduces noise, as opposed to the shots at 120 fps which will be filmed in natural lighting.
