In the exercise we had to include a Medium Close Up somewhere. I though that specific

framing would be perfect for the Front Cover. The model is smiling which obviously

connotes happiness and joyfulness, this could make people think that he is enjoying his

time in Sixth Form which is brilliant for the front Cover.

The following slides show the images that I will be using for my Contents Page of ‘Sixth Life’. The images will have connotations or will be making a reference to Weatherhead’s ‘Pink Day’, ‘Author’s Week’, ‘Year 7’s Halloween Disco’ and ‘Mr Dyment’s Word of the Week!’.

This Low Angle Shot is refereeing to Author’s Week in Weatherhead’s LRC. I

kept the flash on by accident but I like the effect it has given the Author’s

Posters a bright sheen.

This Close Up Shot is to show the upcoming event for Pink Day that

Weatherhead holds annually, to raise money and awareness for Breast

Cancer.

This Medium Close Up is to show Mr Dyment’s Word of the Week which appears every week in ‘Sixth Life’. I used a Medium Close Up so the audience can tell this is the main topic in the photo, also, nothing else is shown in the background.

This is a High Angle Shot because I was looking down at the bags of sweets as I took the photo. This photo was to represent the Year 7’s Halloween Disco because the sweets connote trick or treating which people only do at Halloween.
