Examples of other macro pictures

Photography information• I am planning on taking all my images out of school and I will take

around 24 shots.• I will use the Canon 600d because it is good at focusing the

background. Its got a amazing flip out lens. It is really easy to look at the shots you have taken. I will also use a tripod and will need a sd card.

• Budget, the Canon 600d will cost £350.00• and the tripod I will use is a Velbon DF-51• which costs £30.00.

• The sd card I will use is a class 10 SanDisk which cost around £24.00.

• I wont spend that much money because I am using school camera but I might print out some of my images at home.

• I will be taking all the images myself. • The location I will be shooting is mainly the new forest.

I got inspiration from other artist• Karl Blossfeldt-This artist takes macro images in black and

white which helped me,

History of Karl Blossfeldt• Karl Blossfeldt was a German photographer who was born in

1865 and was one of the first photographers and he died in 1932.He was inspired by his father and nature. All his photography is a plants and the way that plants grow up.

Other artists• I also looked at photography taken from Myra Greene who

takes images that are close up but is also still fitting in with the style I am thinking of going with eg black and white.

Other types of photography • I have looked at other types of photography like wildlife and

fashion photography, I found that it would be hard to take lots of pictures in them sectors. Portrait I looked at but I thought it would not look as interesting as macro.

Slinkachu photography • I looked very cool photography taken from Slinkachu which Is really

impressive because it is all pictures using characters.

Legal and ethical• I will use all my own images and if I use anyone else's picture I

will ask for permission. I will make sure that none of my images can be copied by someone else.

• I have read the codes of practice and regulation and made sure that I follow the regulation.

• I have considered the risk assessment and I will make sure where I take images will be safe and secure.

• I will make sure if I take images of anyone I will get permission slips and I will make sure none of my images can cause offence to anyone.
