About your Expert Trainer: John A Sheffield John brings a tremendous depth of knowledge founded on more than 48 years of experience in the hydrocarbon and petrochemical industries. He has demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to tackle complex projects and problems in an innovative and creative manner. He has held senior engineering, project and production management roles from 1975 to 2004 in M W Kellogg Limited. Whilst at M W Kellogg, he managed the Gas and LNG Project Development team. The expertise he brought to this role emanated from the experience he has gained whilst managing Kellogg’s Process Department and his earlier career in ICI, a major UK chemicals company where he held both project

and production management roles. Since retiring from Kellogg, John has worked with the John M Campbell Company as an instructor/Consultant as well as undertaking specific independent consultancy roles.

He has undertaken specific consultancy assignments looking at future development potential for new projects and giving specific advice and guidance. These have included: • Advice to Minza on monetising gas assets

• Supporting Energy Contracts advising Client on BC LNG developments (2012-3)

• Advising Standard Kessel on technical aspects of LNG imports to Hawaii

• Assisting R2E developing OMS systems for SLNG Corporation (2011-2)

• Providing Technical Input to Gas Strategies Ltd., on several confidential LNG projects
