Frequently Asked Questions ??Does my CNA certificate cover me from state to state?

No, but most states have reciprocity which means that you may be able to make application to the state to which you plan to transfer, and they will accept your training and certificate from Georgia and award you a certificate for that state as well.

Do I have to renew my certificate? Yes. It has to be renewed every 2 years.

Do I have to retest when I renew my certificate. No, you do not have to retest unless you let your certificate lapse.
