Parents may obtain non-directory information if the following conditions have
been met:•Through the written consent of the student•In compliance with a subpoena•By submission of evidence that the parents declared the student as a dependent on their most recent federal income tax form•An institution is not required to disclose information from the student’s education records to any parent of a dependent student•Parents do not have access to faculty at any time

Running StartAcademic Policy
• BC requires all students to achieve a 2.00 GPA (“C” average) or be placed on academic probation
• Approximately 12% of all Running Start students achieve below a 2.00 GPA in any given quarter
• If your GPA for one quarter is below a 2.00, you will be placed on academic probation.
• Running Start students who achieve below a 2.00 GPA for ANY TWO QUARTERS will become ineligible to participate in the program.

Processes for Ineligible Status Students
Students can request an appeal process to come back to the program (must have an extenuating circumstances)
Low grades can permanently damage college transcript - Effect an admission to 4 year college - Receiving Financial Aid or Scholarships once they become regular students
Students who will be approved to come back to the program will have to meet with us throughout a quarter

5 college credits = 1 year high school credit
RS students pay regular tuition for below college level math classes and credits above the student approved credit count
Online and Hybrid Classes
Consider high school class schedule, work schedule and outside activity schedule
Travel and parking time to and from the high school
World language level 122 or higher—get placement by instructor
