PAPER 2: WRITING, PART 1: EMAIL: STRUCTURE

Dear Tessa

Lovely to hear from you after so long! I’ve just received your email and I tell you that I haven’t finished my essay on time since I’ve been ill these last days. I’ll ned extra time to hand it too.

I’m sorry you have lost your mobile phone. Don’t worry about your silence. I can understand you absolutely because I lost mine last month in the cinema.

I understand that you can’t take a decision. All mobiles are similiar now and offer almost the same things. If I were you, I’d buy the last model of Samsung or a Blackberry if you want to use The Internet. If you only need it as a phone, the Samsung model could be fine.

I hope to have been of help

Love

Frank

Email and the notes you have done. Thwen write an email to Alex, using all your notes.

It’s great that you can visit me this weekend. A new activity centre has just opened near my house. Shall we go?

There’s climbing wall at the centre, otr they can take us sailing on the river. The staff at the centre also take groups into the hills to do mountain biking. Which activity would you prefer to do?

I think we’ll be tired on Saturday evening so maybe we should just stay in and do something. So, what do you think we should do?

I’m so excited about the visit. Can your parents bring you to my house on Friday evening rather than Saturday morning?
