DFC PROJECT
OUR SCHOOL
FEEL
This year the theme of the World Environment Day is “Raise your voice, Not the Sea Level”. But why is it only on June 5 we wake up to try and save the environment ? We could become the agents of the CHANGE AND CARE for the ENVIRONMENT all year through.
Excess usage of plastics and polythene covers affects the environment as they are non-biodegradable . So we have decided to collect the plastic materials to recycle them and replace them with bio-degradable one.
CONSEQUENCES OF CHEMICALS PRESENT IN PLASTICS:-
Leads to breast cancer
Leads to early puberty
Makes the soil infertile
Death of animals due to intestine related diseases
Death of precious marine animals
AVOID USING PLASTICSi. Usage of plastics and polythene covers should be
reduced .
ii. Instead we can replace them with bio- degradable paper .
iii. So that soil fertility of the lands in our village will be increased and water sources will not be affected
