What is SEXUAL HARASSMENT….• Defined as any unwelcome

behavior of a sexual nature.• Also known as any unwanted

conduct of sexual nature having the effect of verbal, non-verbal, visual and physical harassment.• Its can hurt a harassed

emotionally, physically and socially.

Sexual harassment can include :• Unwanted touching, hugging, kissing, fondling, sexual assault.• Comment about your body,

wolf-whistling, catcalls, insults of a sexual nature.• Displaying or circulating

pornographic pictures, drawing sex-based sketches or writing sex-based letters, sexual exposure.

Where are usually happen….• Sexual harassment can occur anywhere.• Its can happen to people in big or small companies, in any type of profession, every community and every age group.• For instance on the street, in transportation (Bus, KTM, Monorail, Taxi), in the cinema or at the workplace also college.

Who is affected ….

•Peoples.•Kids, Women, teenagers and mans.•No specific age or rank as prime targets of harassment.

How to prevent….

• Do not remain silent – act quickly.• Say NO• Tell someone, a friend or colleague

or the authority person.• Keep a record• Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed• Don’t apologize or smile• Make a formal complaint
