The asteroid belt is a region of the solar system falling roughly between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Home to many irregular objects called asteroids or minor planets.

This northern constellation is as distinctive feature of "M" or "W ". Being so easy to recognize is used to find the north when the Little Dipper is not visible.
