The building

The 1st Primary school of Nea Ionia is the oldest school in the area. It was built by Minor Asia refugees. It has three floors: ground floor , 1st floor and 2nd floor. We also have a theatre, a big yard , a Chemistry lab , a computer lab.

Subjects

We study many subjects: Greek language, Maths, Science , Geography, Religion, History, English, French, German, Physical Education, Art, Music, Theatre Education, ICT Studies and Citizenship.

Our timetable

Every day lessons start at ten past eight in the morning and they finish at two o’ clock in the afternoon. The first break is from 9:40am. to10:00 and there are 3 more breaks.

Holidays

We have lots of holidays such as: the national holiday on 28th October and the 25thMarch.Ash Monday (this year on February 23), 2 weeks at Christmas , two weeks at Easter and almost three months in summer , from 16th June to…10th September.

Library

In the library there are many books for all the ages. Every pupil can borrow his/her favorite book for 15 days.
