How to Improve the Organizational Structure of Riphah International

University

Teaching Support

It’s a need of it’s name that Riphah International University should set some basic International Standards.

We are following the International Syllabus but the University should provide the Faculty with International level resources.

Their offices, their professional trainings, salary should be considered.

They should have a Faculty Exchange program with International Universities for professional training and grooming.

Faculty should be provided with the Teaching Assistants.

Young faculty members should be oriented and trained enough to be professional.


Students Support

Beside the Real Library we should have a Digital Library (for books, journals, magazines etc.) as the world is going paperless.

Students should get a free membership with some International Organizations for research resources.

Students should have more computer Labs with printing and scanning resources and should be maintained properly.

Students should have a gym and different playing courts.

Students should have different clubs (journalism, photography, Quran, painting, reading etc.)

Students are not well supported and appreciated for extra curriculum activities.

Almost all International Universities have a Students Development Program for their professional training.

Current Labs and Library is not well maintained and is not appealing.


International Alliance

Riphah should have an Alliance with some good International University to collaborate for Improvements, Benchmarking and Quality Assurance.

Riphah should seek some International Accreditation to value it’s programs and degree and also to establish a whole system based on their International quality standards.


Infrastructure

Building is not appealing; it looks very old and boring.

Although we have a big space, it should be properly renovated.

There should be nice waiting area for visitors and a proper guidance should be given to them.

There should be a clinic which should issue any medical certificates to students and staff for their health reasons.

There should be a clean and huge cafeteria with healthy environment.

This is all what I could compile in obvious and short.

Hence there are many more but if we at least can have these then we can say that we are at least at some good International Level.
