services.

What is operations management?

oThe management of systems or processes that create goods and/or

provide/delivering services.

Operation managers?

oThe people who are responsible for monitoring and managing the recourses that

make up the operation functions.

OPERATION FUNCTIONS & ACTIVITIES IN MOST FIRMS OPERATION INTERACTS WITH OTHER FUNCTIONAL AREAS TO PRODUCE

GOODS AND PROVIDE SERVICES FOR CUSTOMERS.

HOW ?

For PRODUCTION of goods or conducting any service they gained monetary resources

For FINANCE/ACCOUNTING they do production and inventory data, capital budgeting, capacity

expansion and technological plans etc.
