During the Simulation, nurses will:

Demonstrate patient centered care when caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Employ evidenced-based techniquesto ensure patient understanding with teach back and ensure safety when communicating information .

Demonstrate expectedsafety precautions , PPE u se, and processes to prevent patient and employee harm.

Identify potential adverse events with chemotherapy and manage interventions if adverse events occur .
