Introduction – the laptop with the internet access and the projector will be used to show the pictures loaded onto slideshare.com on a variety of animals and food. This method is used to cater to the visual learners and the two students with dyslexia and down syndrome.

• The students will use the disposable cameras to take 4-5 pictures each of aquatic animals at Underwater World
• The teacher and students will scan the pictures into a disk for students
• The student will use Prezi.com to create their own food web using the pictures that they took
Require Learner ParticipationIntroduction – 1st dayThe teacher will show pictures on slideshare.com of different animals to
captivate students interest.
The teacher will ask the following questions:• Which of these animals do we or humans eat?• What do each of these animals eat?• Which animals eat meat and which animals eat plants?• Which animals eat both?• How does a plant get its food?
• The teacher will than explain what a producer, consumer, predator, prey, herbivore, omnivore, carnivore, decomposer, food chain and a food web is.
Require Learner Participation1st day• The students will be split into groups of four and the teacher will pass out
pictures of different animals so that the students can classify the animals into their categories: producer, consumer, prey, predator, herbivore, omnivore, carnivore or decomposer.
• Teacher will show a diagram of a food web and a food chain and will describe the difference between the two.
• The teacher will show a video on a food web online to elaborate and build on students knowledge.

• The class will go on a fieldtrip to Underwater World
• The students will take turns in each group taking pictures of 4-5 animals
• The student will record information that is given at Underwater world on each of their animals in their notes for reference

Student activity – 3rd day• With the pictures, the teacher will have them
printed and will have them scanned and put into a disk for the different groups.
• Teacher will demonstrate to the students what Prezi is and will show them how to use it.
• Students will be given time in class to play around with Prezi.

Students will create their food webs using Prezi with their group mates.

Students will discuss the information they gathered and share their food web that they created on Prezi to the whole class.
