GYMNAST

I have belonged to Hamilton City Gymnastics for the past 16 years. Competed for Hamilton City Gymsports and also for the Waikato at

the New Zealand Nationals. Due to an unfortunate injury had to retire competitively but still involve myself recreationally.

COACH

I have been coaching Gymnastics for the past 5 years. I do this 6 days a week and love the feeling of giving back to the gym and

assisting other gymnasts achieve their goals.

GYMSPORTS NEW ZEALAND JUDGE

I have recently qualified as an Elementary Gymnastics Judge. This allows me to Judge recreational as well as national qualifying

competitions up to woman’s step 4. By having this qualification makes me feel as I still belong in the competing circle.

I am currently a student through Otago Polytechnic studying to become an Occupational Therapist. Attending class four times a

week.

I am a sister; the oldest out of my siblings. I became a sister when I was 3 years old. This occupation defines me as a role model to path

they way for the younger two.

FRIEND

I am a friend to many people and feel as I belong to a group of similar minded people. These friends have been there for me in a variety of situations where we can support and encourage each

other to do our best.

SNOWBOARDER

I have become involved in the sport of snowboarding in the winter at Mt Ruapehu as a recreational activity. This occupation satisfies me

as I’m adventurous and a bit of a adrenaline junkie.

DANCER

I became a dancer at the age of 6 doing ballet for 5 years then beginning Jazz ballet for 7 years. This occupation identifies me as

an individual as creative and expressive through movements.

MUSICIAN

Over the years I have learnt how to play the recorder, key board , flute and drums. I belonged to the school music group playing at

church and school assemblies.

ARTIST

This piece of art was created in year 8 with the assistance of the Little Red Gallery for my primary schools office foyer. I have always

had a creative flair whether it is drawing, scrapbooking, knitting, jewellery making or canvas art.
