Welcome to the Non GMO Project

We are a non profit organization consisting of innovative people that represent every sector of organic and natural products. We cover the United States and have recently added Canada to our geographical boundaries for promoting organic products that are not genetically engineered or recreated by DNA technologies.

We began our project with retailers who wanted to provide consumers with information regarding the risks associated with genetically modified foods. However, as the project evolved we decided a 3rd party labeling program was necessary to identify products on a consistent uniform basis, defining a non GMO product.

Our Seal of Authenticity verifies our products and gives our consumers confidence to

buy healthy products

• We believe that everyone has the right to choose whether or not they wish to consume genetically modified foods.

• We offer the only third party verification label for non GMO products.

Choices help us to be Critical Thinkers, Critical Readers and to take Critical Action

Every time you shop THINK * READ * ACT

• Do you understand what you are buying? Is it a GMO product?

• Think ahead. Does this product have potential risks that could effect your health?

• Evaluate the different products before you buy.

• Do no blindly accept whatever is put in front of you. Choose a grocery store that carries our supporters’ products and that has our seal of authenticity displayed.

• Read the labels with the purpose of learning about the product. All products contain a label of ingredients. These labels will tell you what is the product you are purchasing.

• Make an informed decision, then make an informed action by buying safe and healthy products. Do not buy GMO products when you have other options.

• Look for better alternatives. If you do see a healthier choice for the product you are purchasing, visit a store that that favors natural and organic products.

• Understand what is important for your daily health needs. Your body needs nutrients to thrive, and stay healthy.

Our Passion

Health is our most important asset. After being continually confounded with products that are not clearly labeled, I realized the huge need to get a labeling system initiated for consumers.

Recognizing labels immediately will and has saved hours of time shopping. Instead of worrying about eating, there is freedom to steer away from dangerous products and choose others that are healthier.
