New York
New York is probably the most famous city in the world. Think of America and you think of the Big Apple – New York.The centre of New York is the island of Manhattan. It is full of skyscrapers today.
There are hundred of things to do and places to go in New York – museums, art galleries , theatres and night clubs plus thousands of restaurants and shops.
I would like to see the Statue of Liberty.
The statue is one of the best known landmarks in America.It stands on Liberty Island in New York harbour.
It serves to greet visitors and immigrants.The French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed the statue. It can only be reached by boat or ferry.The statue is made of copper, a metal that is normally a color of light orange.However, the copper in the Statue of Liberty reacted with the air, quickly turned to green colour, as it is known today.

The Empire State Building is the third tallest skyscraper in the USA and the 15th tallest in the world.
The beautiful lights that grace the top of the Empire State building are energy efficient as well as awe inspiring. As a Tourist attraction, the view from the top is an exciting experience!
