• How did I meet this disposition throughout the coursework?• Assignment Deadlines – 2 late
• Based on the rubric, what grade would I give myself?• 3 – There is always room for improvement and better time
management skills.
Disposition 2: Initiative• Actively participates: Is inquisitive; Demonstrates follow
through.• Why is this important as a teacher?• Actively involved in classroom lessons for students• Actively involved in students learning and daily lives• Actively involved in the lives of our coworkers
• How did I meet this disposition through the coursework?• Course Assignments – Discussion Posts
• Based on the rubric, what grade would I give myself?• 3 – Better time management would have allowed for better
and more in depth discussion posts, replies and comments on classmates.
Disposition 3: Communication Skills
• Displays respect for others both verbally and nonverbally.
• Why is this important as a teacher?• Teaching concepts to students of all levels and abilities• Communication with parents, administrators and
coworkers
• How did I meet this disposition through the coursework?• Course discussion post, replies and comments• Communication with instructor on textbook and
assignments when needed
• Based on the rubric, what grade would I give myself?• 3 – Completion of discussion assignments, expressing
my thoughts, learning from others and questioning to better clarify ideas.
Disposition 4: Professionalism & Ethical Behavior
• Actively seeks to work with others to improve the overall educational environment; Demonstrates honesty and fairness; Demonstrates ethical behavior as outlined in the AECOE.

Overall Reflection• I believe that I successfully met each of the
dispositions required for course completion.• There is always room for improvement. • If you are not looking to improve, or can not see fault in
yourself or your work, teaching is the wrong career.
• The structure of class also met the dispositions through the course requirements and assignments.
