• We have catered to more than 350 Engineering Colleges andB-School through our in house and open house programs.

National CreativityAptitude Test

• NCAT is a Pan India creativity aptitude test.

• NCAT has been designed by some of the best brains from IITs& IIMs.

• The aims is to make students aware of the importance ofcreative thinking and to encourage them to use the same forvarious problem-solving exercises.

• The NCAT will assess the creativity quotient of a student andhis/her level of achievement motivation.

Who Can Participate

• Based on course and year of study, students will be dividedinto following six categories:

1. 1st Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.

2. 2nd Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.

3. 3rd Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.

4. 4th Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg

5. 1st Yr. MBA/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech.

6. 2nd Yr. MBA/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech.

Structure of NCAT

• The test will be conducted in two phases.

• Round 1 will be conducted at the college end and two topperforming students of each category from each college fromround 1 will qualify for the next round of Test.

• Round 2 will be conducted at Delhi (IIT Delhi).

Question PaperRound 1

• ROUND 1: The participants have to answer 100 multiplechoice questions in 120 minutes.

• The question paper will have three sections:

• One mark will be allotted for each right answer and 0.25marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Important Dates

• Last Date of Registration: 15 Dec, 2012

• Date of Round 1 exam (at the College/Institute): 9 Feb, 2013

• Result of Round 1 Exam: 2 Apr, 2013

• Date of Round 2 exam (at IIT Delhi) : 15 Jun, 2013

• Declaration of Winners: 20 Jun, 2013

Awards & Accolades

• For each category winners will be declared and they willreceive cash prize as mentioned below:– 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000– 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000– 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000

• Top 10 Students from each category will be given aResidential IIT Certificate Course of one week at IIT Delhi onCreativity and Innovation.

• All students securing more than 75 percentile in the round 1test will get “Certificate of Excellence”. All others will get a“Certificate of Participation”.

Participation Fee

• Students can enroll for NCAT by paying Rs. 250/-.

• Fee should be submit with Faculty Coordinators or Dean ofStudents Welfare or Training & Placement Officer.

• Students need to fill a student information form. Form is alsoavailable on www.ncat.co.in

• One Student can also become Student Coordinator andShe/he should make other students aware about the test andassist faculties in collecting fee.
