My Swimming Social Story

I am going swimming soon and it is going to be a lot of FUN!

This will be the pool. It might be a little cold, but I can wear a wetsuit to keep warm if I want to.

The teachers will be nice to me. They will teach me how to swim! If I am scared, they will help

me.

I will have a schedule to follow. I will complete everything on my schedule.

The red on the timer will show me how long my lesson will be.

I will swim with my face in the water.

I keep my mouth closed when I swim.

I keep my eyes open under the water.

I can wear goggles if the water hurts my eyes.

I kick my legs when I swim.

I keep my body still and float on my back when I need to breathe.

I might need to wear things to help me be a better swimmer.

There will be toys for me to play with in the water.

When the red on the timer is gone, my lesson will be over and I will get out of

the pool.

Swimming lessons are a lot of FUN!
