TOPCAT has a feature called My Lists.

Here’s how it works.

Search the catalog.

I’ll enter in the terms “FAIR TRADE” for this

example.

I’m interested in the title “Fair trade for all…”

To add this title to a list, click the Add to My Lists icon.

Or, add a title to a list from the full TOPCAT record display.

Click the Add to My Lists icon.

If you are not already logged into TOPCAT, you’ll be

prompted to do so.

Your lists are stored within your

library account.

Use the drop down menu to save the title to

an existing list or to create a new list.

We’ll create a new list.

Add a list name and description.

Click Submit when done.

Our list has been created with 1 title saved to it.

Click Back to return to your place in the catalog.

To look at your lists, go to your TOPCAT account.

Click on My Lists.

Here are the lists in my account.

You can mark lists to delete from this screen, or click on a list to view

the saved titles.

Within a list you can: VIEW titles; REQUEST items; CHANGE a list

name; MOVE titles to another list; or EXPORT to print or save.

To save multiple titles to a list, checkmark items of interest

from the results screen.

Click Saved Marked Records, then the Add Marked to

My Lists icon.

After marking multiple items, you can save them all

to one list.

I used the drop down to save 11 titles to the ECON 105 list.

On other results pages, mark items of interest, and again click

Saved Marked Records before the Add Marked to My Lists icon.

Or, you can choose the View Saved Records option to see all

saved titles in a list or not.
