Dear Suzanne Collins My name is Ineen Jarman, I'm 11 years old from Auckland, New Zealand and I'm a huge fan of your books especially your amazing book The Hunger Games. It is by far the most interesting, heart stopping book I have ever read in my whole life. I love how you have written The Hunger Games it is really breath taking, you have put so much detail into the story board, the description is fantastic it must have taken you ages to write a book like The Hunger Games and you our my favourite author in the whole wide world. Katniss Everdeen is my favourite character in you books, I think she is skilled, smart, determined, strong, hard work and I think she could do anything she set her mind to and I think that is just beyond words. To me your book is very emotional especially when Rue dies that made my eyes water to be truthful. My favourite part in The Hunger Games book is when Katniss is getting interviewed before The Hunger Games. I though you put in a bit to much description in how Glitter died it was just to much for me. If you don't mind but I just wanted to tell you that I would have done somethings differently like at some parts like not to much description at some parts but some times it was spot on. I felt quite upset about when Katniss and the red head girl were cleaning up the mess that Katniss had made, other people may think that is fine but I just don't like that kind of description in that kind of scene. I wondered though why you chose to describe the Capitol's people in that way like who they dress and act what made you come up with the idea as well as the idea of The Hunger Games were you fight to the death for entertainment ? One of the parts I love to read over and over again is when Katniss is in the tree with Rue and Rue snuggles up to Katniss and falls asleep it is just so heart warming. I just though I would tell you a bit of what I think of some of your characters if that ok. Peete is smart, artistic, strong, dreamer and fights for what he believes in. Rue is cunning, helpful, smart, cute, jumpy and adorable.

Prim is hard working, smart and loving. It's ok if you don't agree with what I have written but it is just how I think they are. What would you have done if you were Katniss at the starting point what would you have done on the first day. I just thought that I would tell you that I love how you have the idea of the whole Hunger Games it just amazing. I was just wondering how you can up with the book idea? and what made you want to write. Your book has inspired me to write myself but not as good as you, I have written a book called Revenge but it is only about four to five pages long but I'm just beginning. It's really cool how you can write such a master piece it must have taken you forever, how long did it take you to write The Hunger Games and how many times a day did you work on it? I'm a huge fan. Did you know my Teacher reads your books to she is up to the third book but I've just finished the first book. You are so awesome, amazing, fantastic, cool, creative, artistic author ever and I just LOVE you books to death. I just was wondering if you get many people coming up to you asking for your autograph when your out, I know it sounds weird but I was just wondering. Your Sincerely, Ineen Jarman
