We all learn through social interactions

This knitting activity was initiated by one child who

simply asked if I knew how.. I knew she was ready because

she knew how to sew.

Soon after, a few others joined and persevered

together in learning new skills and expressed their individuality through the

yarn.

Advocated for the Children’s benefit…

Parents know what’s best for their kids.

They want to be in the know about education and how

they can help prepare their child for what’s ahead.

This article informs what some parents say about the

class sizes in FDK.

Its our job to empower parents

Informed parents of resources to information on education in the news

• Children learn by hands on interaction with their environments

Observed and documented children’s learning…

Evidence of children’s interests need to be

observed before inquiry

Being a team player…

Took the lead when the Yoga instructor did not turn up and with the collaboration of the children who suggested we also use the yoga picture cards.

We need to rely on each other sometimes even on short notice as a staff working toward a common goal

My admiration for this profession has increased because now I have a

philosophy to live by and

it will guide me to

work with integrity.

… now I have the skills to facilitate families needs, interests and well being.
