She born in Guaduas the 26 enero of 1791.She was a hero of the independence of Colombia, also called La pola, acted as a spy in the independece force and shot died during the Spanish reconquest.The name complete was the la pola is Policarpas salavarrieta rios.

She is a hero for me because she struggle to instill to enquality to the Spanish and she had values ,she was a intelligent woman and a humble woman.
