My Dream Job

What?

I would love to be a Zookeeper so that I can train animals

and teach people about how wonderful animals are.

Why?

I love animals, and I dream of working closely with them

when I grow up.

What Zookeeper’s Do:

Zookeepers care for animals at zoo’s or aquariums.

Zookeepers teach people about animals.

Zookeepers clean the animal living spaces and

work to keep the animals healthy.

What do I have to do to become a

Zookeeper?

Experience is really important when applying for a

zookeeper job.

When I am at high school I will volunteer at the SPCA or

Wet pets to gain experience.

I will study at university to get a degree in animal science.

Is it easy to become a Zookeeper?
