Type of Documentary ‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’ is an observational
documentary as it contains dramatisation, narration, observational and interviews.
‘My Big Fat Gypsy Weddings’ use a closed structure as it shows the wedding of the particular person that is being focused on per episode and we as the audience find out what happened at their wedding.
Type of Documentary Entering the world of 21st Century gypsy and traveller
weddings, where ancient traditions meet modern fashions in an ostentatious culture clash, this film follows four gypsy and traveller families on their wedding day. The documentary is also multi-strand meaning that it follows more than one persons story through the episode.
They also use a linear structure meaning the story plays out in chronological order.

Camera Work Hand held camera is used in ‘My Big Fat Gypsy
Wedding’ for interviews which is called an Indirect Interview (we see subject talking on camera, but we don't see or hear the interviewer asking questions in the same shot; this gives the impression of the character speaking directly to the viewer.

music that is played at the wedding after partys
Non Diagetic: traditional gypsy music and the opening titles theme song.
