Front page cover The front page of a magazine is a vital element that gives readers the initial insight to the magazine as a whole.

The main element of the front page is a picture that is to grab the eyes of readers when on the shelves. With music magazines the front page picture is normally of a music artist or group that is featured in that particular magazine issue. This is then used as the entire background of the the front page.

Another important aspect of a music magazine is the leads as this is what will draw readers to the magazine. This gives readers sight to the contents for the magazines without having to open the magazines. This is done through subtitles or even quotes from some of the main articles in side the magazine.

With music magazines, the double page is normally consists of an interview with an artist or a group. This allows readers to get to know them .

There is always more texts on the double page spreads of the magazine as the information is always much more detailed than any other aspect of the magazine.
