Multi Site Manager

Multi Site Manager is a set of tools to manage sites that share the same content. It allows you to:• Define the relationship between sites• Enforce a common base structure and common content

across multiple sites• Maximize reusability of content• Control when updates occur

The relationship can be at a broad or a granular level.


Multi Site Manager Tools and Terminology

Blueprint A site (set of pages) defined as a Blueprint Pages are cloned from a different site(s)

Live Copy A site cloned/generated from a Blueprint or from another

siteLanguage Copy

A copy of an existing site that is to be translated to another language

Inheritance The relationship between the source and the new content

Rollouts and Rollout Configurations Rules and events for synchronizing content


What is a Live Copy

You can create a Live Copy from: A Blueprint (Create > Site) An existing site or page (Create > Live Copy)

In both cases, you will have inheritance and rollout configurations.

Push: When created from a Blueprint

Pull: When created from an existing page

Updates occur in two ways depending on the method you use to create the Live Copy:
