How much revision should they do?
It is expected that students will complete all papers in their booklet before the exam.
This is the equivalent of at least one a week up until study leave
A session of maths revision should be at least 1hr
Students should aim for at least two sessions each week, then greatly increase this when exams become nearer
Top tips
Students should carefully review each of their previous two mock exams.
These have been marked according to official exam board specifications
It is much more useful to look at questions which they have got incorrect.
Our drop-in sessions continue to run on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week
Students should already know what their current grade is and what they need to do to improve
If they take steps themselves to do this, they will maximise their progress
