Pan

• Pan (Panorama)• Horizontal movement

of camera from a fixed position

• The camera pans left to right or right to left

Tilt

• Tilt is a camera movement on the vertical axis from a fixed position

• A tilt is top to bottom or the reverse

Dolly

• Dolly, Tracking or Trucking shot

• The whole camera changes position travelling in any direction on the ground

• Dolly shots are preformed on tracks or an Elemac

• A crane shot not only leaves the ground but can go forwards, backwards, in and out, up and down

• Variation on the crane shot are helicopter and airplane shots
