The second theme idea I have decided to chose is a Doctor Who theme as it is

a TV series there are lots of things I could include such as my own

interpretation of the tardis or some of the enemies included in the show.

My first theme revolves around the band My Chemical Romance, I have

researched into a number of their own t-shirt designs and fan made ones most of the popular t-shirt designs are very

simple and involve a lot of art and graphics, I would like to ad these

aspects to my designs although I would also like to include photographs.

My Chemical Romance Doctor Who

My final theme is based on the Japanese Studio Ghibli film Totoro

which I think would be very interesting as the film has lots of different

characters in and has a vivid storyline which I could use for a range of ideas to

include on my t-shirt design.

For my t-shirt design I want to mix two themes together to get the best product, I know that mixing two

themes will increase my audience as I can aim at two audiences. I need to

keep in mind that the two themes must be similar although one of the designs I looked at was a mix of Doctor Who and

Pulp Fiction.

Although I looked at some photographs with bright vivid

colour in them I wanted to keep my shirt simple and for it to tie

in with the design of my inspiration from the Jack Daniels bottle so I decided to keep the

black and white colours. In order to get the text I wanted I had to

download a font.

My design is based on Gerard Way, lead singer of the band My Chemical Romance, it also consists of the design for the Jack Daniels whiskey bottle.

Disadvantages; the file takes up a lot of space.

I will be setting our my mind maps and planning, researching into existing designs. I will be creating mood boards and setting out my proposal.

I will be choosing my final design and starting to create the design for my shirt and creating it on Photoshop.

I will be working on uploading the design and any other work on to my blog and writing my evaluation.
