Ask yourself: What is the author trying to communicate?
Example: Edgar Allen Poe writes moods that tend to be gloomy, horrific, and desperate.
Example of Mood
A feeling of love. A feeling of doom. A feeling of fear. A feeling of pride. An atmosphere of chaos. An atmosphere of peace.
