WHY I CHOSE THIS PLAN• Interactive, most days in Italian 101

we spend the time sitting in our desks • Encourages everyone to participate • Promotes positive classroom

dynamics• Provides a method to ask questions

about new vocabulary

THE PLAN BASICS• Modeled after the TV show “Family Feud”• Formulate questions asking students about new vocab or verbs

they are learning• Split the classroom up into two groups• Instead of just simply answering the question, students will

need to be able to use the verb or word in a sentence• Can use classmates for support or help if needed

UNIVERSAL DESIGN• Students who do not learn well in a typical classroom

setting will have the ability to participate in a fun learning game

• Visual and audio: students who are both blind and deaf are able to participate

• Encourages shy students to participate and gives them an opportunity to add their input without the pressure
