Curriculum and Playlists
Khan’s Academy includes many proven curriculum outlines and playlists developed by other teachers, and school districts. They are available to be downloaded and used as you may see fit.
Some included playlists are based on case studies. The backgrounds and necessary information is provided within the Coach section of the website.
If you have added any students or wish to add more you would do so on this screen.
This is the “Real Time” Report that will display ALL your students, what they are currently working on and/or if they are NOT currently working. If they are watching a video demonstration of an exercise or other assigned task that will be displayed as well.
The Knowledge Map is available to guide you as to how you may wish to develop or design your curriculum and/or student assignments. This report also demonstrates and shows correlations between activities and skills as you and/or student(s) develop them.
The Knowledge Map also displays what skills have been developed and mastered. This tool can help you to alter or change a learning plan for all students or even a particular student or group.
Here you see the skills and topic areas within the assignments that you or your student has focused on. This is currently displayed in a circular graph form; this may be altered to suit your needs.
This is an Activity graph detailing the amount of time the student spent on video instruction, skills or exercises over the period of a one week time period.
This is the Goals page; where the student can view his or her goals, progress among those goals and/or set a new goal. The Coach can work with the student to do so.
This chart is the Student Progress Page of one specific student. This page is currently detailing the Skills the student has mastered, attempted and his progress. If you switch tabs you can see the Recommendations the Coach has made, the Videos he has seen, the Badges he has accumulated and the Activity he has had throughout the program or over a specific time frame.
The Coach can download the student’s Progress into a Report in Excel format. This can be done for an individual student or a whole classroom of students. The Report can include as many fields or elements as the Coach desires or needs.
