3. COMPENSATION According to Edwin B Flippo: “The function of compensation

is defined as the adequate and equitable remuneration of personnel for their contributions to the organizational objectives.”

Different types of compensation include: • Base Pay• Commissions• Overtime Pay• Bonuses, Profit Sharing, Merit Pay• Stock Options• Travel/Meal/Housing Allowance• Benefits including: dental, insurance, medical, vacation, leaves,

goods, that you are given because of your job. To understand this PERK concept, we can take two

Performance Appraisal:Performance Appraisal is the systematic evaluation

of the performance of employees and to understand the abilities of a person for further growth and development.

Performance Management:“In simplest terms, it’s a way of getting people to do

what you want them to do and to like doing it.” Performance Management is a scientifically based,

data-oriented management system. It consists of three primary elements—measurement, feedback and positive reinforcement

WHY PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT? Performance appraisal were mostly narrowly

focused for measuring the degree of accomplishment of on individual where supervisors had a major role to play in judging the past performance of an employee without soliciting active involvement of the employee. Performance management focused on front end planning instead of looking backward, the focus is on ongoing dialogue instead of ratings.

5. ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION Effective Communication is significant for employees in

the organizations so as to perform the basic functions of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling.

PRIVATE SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

For Example a free enterprise social network service, launched during last five years; it is used for private communication within organization. It gauges the employee emotions expressed in posts, they can share photos, tag them and write posts, just like facebook and google+. WOW.

MODERN COMMUNICATION

Considering the example of Ernst and Young – they have a much organized performance appraisal system. Now employee can update their profile by adding all the activities he/she has performed throughout the year and share supervisor's comments/feedback obtained at the end of the project.

CONCLUSION• In this globalization world, Business environment

is continuously changed. Human resource has major challenge in future to develop and retain capable employees and it faces many problems.

• HRM uses technology.• Datafication plays a vital role in HRM• IHRM & SHRM are Introduced.

Finally, HRM is metamorphosis according to the current business

environment.
