ITES
ITES, Information Technology Enabled Service, is defined as outsourcing of processes that can be enabled with information technology and covers diverse areas like finance, HR, administration, health care, telecommunication, manufacturing etc.
Armed with technology and manpower, these services are provided from e-enabled locations. This radically reduces costs and improve service standards. In short, this Internet service provider aims in providing B2B e-commerce solutions.
ITES
The growth of IT enabled Services (ITES) has opened windows for job opportunities, service offerings and foreign investments in India.
Nasscom says that India is well positioned to derive benefits from the ITES market and become a key hub for these services.

Strong demand over the past few years has placed India amongst the fastest growing IT markets in the Asia- Pacific region.
The Indian software and information technology enabled services (ITES) industry has grown at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28 per cent during the last five years.
The key segments that have contributed significantly (96 percent of total) to the industry’s exports include – Software and services (IT services) and ITES, i.e. business services.
ITES IN INDIA
A majority of companies in India have already aligned their internal processes and practices to international standards such as ISO, CMM, six sigma, etc., which has helped to establish India as a credible sourcing destination.
As of December 2005, over 400 Indian companies had acquired quality certifications with 82 companies certified as SEI CMM Level 5- higher than any other country in the field.
