My dad was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1962.My mum was born in Caily, Vietnam in 1978

My parents’ life

My dad loved school because he thought one day he might become a doctor, teacher or a lawyer.

My dad’s wish came true. He became a teacher and technician.

When my dad was young he liked playing guitar, soccer ball, tennis ball and table-tennis.

My mum loved school too. She was a very good student and hoped she would get a good job.

But that time my mum was too young to have a job.

When my mum was little she playedwith cooking pots.

My dad migrated to Australia because he did not like the communist government. The thing my dad likes about Australia is it’s a good country and you can do anything you want.

My mum migrated to Australia because she wanted to live with my dad. What my mum likes about Australia is that there are a lot of jobs here.
