Make the neck hole small. You can always make it bigger later.
Choose thread that is close to the
colour of your fabric. This is done in black so
you can see it better.
Leave about a pencil
width around the edge.
Pattern on the INSIDE.
Can be an astronaut suit by cutting up the middle to make pants.
Turn the item
inside out.
Cut carefully up the
middle. This will be the back of the
dress.
Use the same piece of paper to
make a jacket or top. Cut it to the length you
want.
Fold along the top
Cut larger than pattern. Jackets are wider than
a dress.

Cut up the middle of the front.
Turn inside out.

Iron if necessary to make a

stitch it closed. The buttons will not undo. They are for show.
This pattern can be pants or
a long or short skirt.
Sew like the other pieces
and turn inside out.
The waist will be big.
Stitch to fit - see next pic.
Stitch to fit. Gather at the
back.
The saree was tricky. There are a lot of hidden stitches and
folds underneath. I made a top with a small
piece of fabric.
See next pic for saree
wrapping ideas.
