M-Zone investigations at VossWe have chosen a tree in the old almenning as our intervention point at Voss.

The four trees in the old square gives a strong direction, pointing to the cul-tural landscape, an allmenning room.

This tree is located in the crosspoint between the allmenning and our ‘new found’ backstreet.

The official street and the backstreet are a re-flection of each other, and the use is mutually dependent. Still there seems to be a difference in valuation.

We found that the activities that takes place in the backstreet also plays a part in the social interactions in Voss.
