Choosing “Children and Teenagers” under “Demographic Groups” reveals a listing of resources for the age group.

Looking through the list we choose

“Asthma in Children”.

“Coping” appears to be the best match for beginning our research.

Following the link leads us to a tutorial produced by Healthy

Following links under Disease Management reveals some excellent

information that can help parents and others dealing

with asthmatic children.

Another link brings up information from the

We can also use the simple

The results display general information concerning asthma and additional links

of information on the web.

Here we find a resource from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This resource is a help for

children and caregivers discussing triggers responsible for

asthma attacks.

There is a link that provides an article from

the Merck Manual, a standard medical

reference.

We have added “Children” to focus

the search.

Adding school to our search returns a new list focused on asthmatic children in school, leading to more excellent resources.
