Lifting heavy objects

When lifting objects it’s important we bend our needs and make sure no one is wearing flip flops to prevent someone getting a serious injury. Also important there are not many people standing around when we pick up the heavy object.

Wearing appropriate clothing

Appropriate clothing is very important as there is a young child taking part in the film. Therefore everyone should be dressed appropriately to represent their characters. The little girl will be wearing her school uniform as this will make it clear to the audience that she is a young school girl.

Planning location We plan to set part of our short film in a job centre and a local shop. Therefore we will have to get consent from the job centre to see whether we are allowed to film within their centre. Also we will have to film in the shop where we will ask if one of us can pose as a customer whilst we film the scene. Therefore he may require the shop keeper’s staff to help us out if they are willing to do so. But we must have permission to do so.

Filming members of the public

It’s important we get consent off the members of public we plan to film. They must be aware of us filming them as they may not want to participant otherwise. It is basic human rights for them to be aware of us filming as it can be seen as ethically wrong.

Being aware of safety when interviewing

This does not apply to us as we will not be interviewing an members of the public

Storing equipment safely and appropriately

All equipment and props will be kept securely at someone’s house and will only be brought out if it is requires in the shots. The camera will be kept in a secure bag to prevent damage and will not be thrown about.

Storing sharp objects

This will not apply to us as we will not be using any sharp objects in our short film. Our props do not have any danger to them.
