What is referencing?
• Standardised way of citing authors you have used in your paper
• Standardised way of recording your works cited, in your List of References

REFERENCING STYLES
Referencing consists of two parts:
• Acknowledge another person’s work at exact point in your essay,
called in-text citing
• Give full details of the work you used at end of essay, i.e. List of references. This enables your reader to find it should they want to read it.
