Obtain Private Loan information from Student Services screen Academics Tab Academic Level Academic Load

Review Maintain Originated Loans

Obtain Private Loan information from Maintain Originated Loans screen Loan Origination 2 Tab Loan Amount Loan Period

ELM Process

▪ Login to ELM▪ Click on Dashboard

▪ Enter student’s SSN in Search box, press Enter

▪ Choose correct private loan if there are more than one; typically indicated by a “Certification Requested” status

ELM Process

▪ From the Certification Detail screen– Enter Certified amount Choose correct – Grade Level– Enrollment Status– Anticipated Graduate Date: 05/21/2021– Loan Period– Update disbursement amounts and

disbursement dates according to loan period

▪ Click on Action

▪ Choose Certify

Override Loan Status in PeopleSoft

▪ From the CommonLine Management screen – Click on the “Remove

Hold” radio button and click Update Status

– Click the “Accept Orig” radio button and click Update Status

– Save

▪ Due to error in loan transmission, manually certified loan on ELM. Accepted origination in PS.
